I create abstract mixed-media paintings to make the invisible tangible. I build up my works in layers, combining natural colors, rich textures, transparent color layers, and open spaces. The contrast between rough and refined, dense and open, earthy and ethereal reflects the complexity of life and the many layers within ourselves. I feel drawn to what is not visible or easy to explain: the subtle layers of experience, intuition, emotion, and a quiet awareness of something greater than ourselves. By working intuitively and introspectively, I explore the balance between raw emotion and inner stillness, between the tangible and the ethereal. My paintings bring these seemingly opposing worlds together and create a space where duality can exist within a sense of unity. For me, art is an invitation to slow down, to feel, and to look beyond the surface.
