A new art season
LET'S CREATE an inspired world
After a wonderful holiday in Northern Italy with Lars, I’m back home again.
We saw so many beautiful things, and I realised once again how much I recharge from soulful beauty. Venice, with its little streets, the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, the Venice Biennale, the expansive views from the vaporetto, and the beautiful old houses and buildings.
We also wandered through Verona, Vicenza and Padua, taking in art such as Giotto’s magnificent frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel. In between, we relaxed in nature, surrounded by mountains. This is the kind of inspiration that makes my heart dance.
Back home, it’s immediately time to focus on everything that is about to begin. Since my Thursday evening Abstract Painting course is completely full, I’ve decided to offer an additional Abstract Painting course on Monday evenings. This course will start on 5 October. The next Thursday evening course starts on 29 October.
For those who prefer a one-day workshop, I’m offering Abstract & Mixed Media Painting on 27 September. I still have a few places available.

Day workshop Abstract & Mixed Media painting
Sunday 27 september 10 am - 4 pm Now €90
In this workshop, you’ll build a solid foundation in abstract and mixed media painting.
You’ll create a painting, optionally incorporating texture, on a canvas of approximately 58 × 78 cm. You’ll discover how to combine different elements and materials into one exciting and cohesive artwork.
You can work with materials such as modelling paste, jute, paper, rust and acrylic paint to add depth, contrast and character to your painting.
I’ll guide you through the process while introducing you to composition, colour harmony, contrast and balance — so that you not only learn how to create, but also how to see more clearly.
Suitable for both beginners and more experienced painters.

Would you like to learn how to paint abstractly, or do you already have a good understanding of the basics and want to take your painting further?
In this course, you’ll explore composition, develop your own style, learn new techniques, and experiment with colour and materials. You’ll discover how to paint with more confidence, freedom and awareness.
I’ll guide you throughout the process, adapting my guidance to your individual level and development.
This course is suitable for both beginners and more experienced painters.
