LET'S CREATE an inspired world ​ After a wonderful holiday in Northern Italy with Lars, I’m back home again. We saw so many beautiful things, and I realised once again how much I recharge from soulful beauty. Venice, with its little streets, the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, the Venice Biennale, the expansive views from the vaporetto, and the beautiful old houses and buildings. We also wandered through Verona, Vicenza and Padua, taking in art such as Giotto’s magnificent frescoes

I create abstract mixed-media paintings to make the invisible tangible. I build up my works in layers, combining natural colors, rich textures, transparent color layers, and open spaces. The contrast between rough and refined, dense and open, earthy and ethereal reflects the complexity of life and the many layers within ourselves.
